About the Role
Key duties & requirements:
- Patrol the property and help keep guests, staff and facilities safe.
- Monitor bar entry, guest behaviour and hotel access points.
- Handle disturbances calmly and professionally.
- Respond to security concerns and emergencies, and report incidents to management.
- Assist with closing checks and securing the premises.
- Be honest, punctual, observant and able to work independently.
- Have good communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Be able to carry out regular patrols and stand for extended periods.
- Be available for night shifts, weekends and public holidays, with reliable transport.
Requirements
We’re looking for a reliable and professional Night Security Officer to provide security at Hula Bar on designated nights and carry out overnight security duties across the hotel property.
What We’re Looking For
A reliable, honest and punctual person who can work independently.
Good communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
An observant and professional approach, with sound judgement.
The ability to carry out regular walking patrols and stand for extended periods.
Availability for night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Reliable transport to and from work.
Previous security experience and first aid training are preferred.
