About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable hairstyles, colours and treatments.
- Provide haircuts, styling and blow-drying for women, men and children.
- Carry out colouring, highlights, bleaching and toning with appropriate product safety checks.
- Provide hair and scalp treatments and advise clients on aftercare.
- Create hairstyles for weddings and special occasions.
- Manage appointments efficiently and deliver friendly, professional service.
- Clean and sanitise tools, equipment and workstations between clients.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering salon products and supplies.
- Recommend suitable haircare products and promote salon services.
- Work with the Divine Spa & Salon team to maintain consistent service standards across both locations.
Requirements
We’re looking for a skilled and friendly hairdresser to join our team with:
Relevant hairdressing qualification and/or proven salon experience.
Confident in cutting, styling and blow-drying women’s, men’s and children’s hair.
Experienced in colouring, highlights, bleaching and toning.
Able to provide consultations and recommend suitable styles, treatments and home haircare.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, well-presented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Committed to maintaining clean equipment and a hygienic workspace.
Available to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
Bridal and special-occasion hairstyling experience would be an advantage.
